皆様はどんなお正月を過ごされましたか。
明日から仕事始めの方もまだまだお休みは続くという方もいらっしゃいますね。
お酒を飲んで、お餅を食べ過ぎて…
そんな時カロリー消費におすすめなのが「お正月の遊び」です。
しかも英語で考えたら…
脳みそを使うのでさらにカロリー消費をするでしょう（笑）
それでは定番正月遊び。
今回は寒いので「室内編」です。
歌留多はポルトガル語が語源(carta)で、日本では貝合わせという遊びがあり
ヨーロッパのゲームと混ざったものです。
英語ではPlaying cardsと言います。
trick-taking gameというゲームのためにもたらされ
福岡のあたりに最初に伝わったと言われています。

This is called “Yomifuda”.

Players are usually one-on-one or three-on-three.
one-on-one＝一対一

Players divide cards into two and place the cards right in front of them.

right in front of＝〜の正面に
3.
Players are given a few minutes to memorize where the cards are.
memorize＝覚える
4.
A reciter randomly reads out a card, then players pick/take a card that macthes the card that reciter read.
reciter＝暗唱者、音読者
5. Players who can get the most cards will win.
